How to get lasting change in almost any area in your life starting today
Today I want to give you something that I think you might find pretty helpful. I want to show you what I do and have been doing to make lasting change in my life in every single area, whether it be personal or whether it be business related it can most definitely help change your life today.
1. Raise your goals and your standards
If you sincerely want your life to change, you need to raise your goals and your standards of what you expect of yourself. So the way to do this is by doing the following steps:
- Take a piece of paper and write down exactly what you will and will not tolerate in your life
- Read it every single day for the next 30 days
- Most important, take action on your thoughts each day
So let me give you a real life example of this: Lets say you want to lose weight. Your standards are to drink 2 glasses of water per day and to avoid junk food by all costs, you need to take action and drink those 2 glasses of water as well as avoiding junk food every single day.
2. Change your belief system
Once you have set yourself a goal and a standard and you don't believe that you can actually achieve this, you already sabotage yourself as well as your belief system. You must truly believe that you can achieve your standards and goals before you can actually do it. Let me give you another life example of this: Lets say that you decide that you want to earn $10 000 p/m but you don't believe that you can actually achieve this, you will not! Believe with all your heart, mind and soul that you can achieve this and you will be capable of doing it. Believing that this is possible will start moving things into place and things will start happening for you to accomplish what you have set out to do.
3. Change and act on your strategies
Once you have raised your standards and your goals and you have changed your belief system, you will naturally figure out strategies and ways to do what you have set out to do. This naturally comes to you without you even realizing it. The most important point to make here is that you need to ACT on your thoughts. Action is critically important. Don't set it aside until tomorrow, DO IT NOW! People often know what to do, but phew actually take action.
